I have partnered with Anya in ministering to at-risk children in the Zhitomer region since 2001 - before she became a Slad in 2005! She and Sergei adopted their first child just a month after getting married! Less than a year later, they adopted 4 more children! God has continued to grow their family (a total of 10 children) and ministry through all these years! We minister in the local transition center (where children go after being removed from the streets or from abusive/negligent homes before being placed in orphanages or being adopted. We minister to them in the hospital, as well. We also have what is called here Daily Centers. Where, after school, children are fed, helped with homework, taught about the Lord and loved. We also visit them in their homes to minister to their parents as well. Inna, Anya's cousin has taken over most of the active part of this ministry. Praise the Lord!
